How to apply for the PDE
There is a centralised system for a common application and selection procedure to the Professional (formerly Postgraduate) Diploma in Education (NUI) programme (including University College Cork, University College Dublin, NUI Galway and NUI Maynooth). The application system is available ONLINE only now.
N.B. Please note that the Professional Diploma in Education online application form is separate to the UCC postgraduate studies application forms. You must apply directly at www.pac.ie/pde
Or alternatively, at www.pac.ie click on the Professional Diploma in Education under the heading INDIVIDUAL PROGRAMMES.
Applicants must Create a PAC Login Account before commencing the application form.
- Create a PAC Login Account (first time users only) – Applicants who are first time users need to create an account before making an application. Go to the login section on the right hand side of the screen and click on the register here link. Enter your email address, password and contact details and click submit
- When successfully logged in, Click on Apply under the heading MY PAC
- Confirm you have read both the Application Instructions and Terms and Conditions and click on the start application button
