Welcome to the Department of Economics webpage for Chinese students
The Economics Department welcomes Chinese students for the study of Economics at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
We are committed to ensuring that our Chinese students have an enjoyable, enriching and memorable time while studying in the Department.
Undergraduate Students
At undergraduate level Chinese students wishing to visit University College Cork for two years can choose from one of our three specifically designed 2+2 programmes or students wishing to visit for one year can select from a large range of modules in our 3+1 programme.
2+2 students must successfully complete two years of study at one of the Chinese universities with which the Department has an alliance and two years in the Department of Economics in UCC. Upon successful completion students will be awarded a UCC Degree.

3+1 students can complete one year of study in the Department of Economics for which they are given credit at their home university in China. Students can choose from a range of economics modules.
