Biography

Aileen Murphy is a lecturer in the Department of Economics and currently teaches health economics to both day and night students on the BA programme and also economics of enterprise and international trade. Aileen is a graduate of University College Cork (BComm, MEconSc). Her research interests include health economics, including economic evaluations, Health Technology Assessment and the economics of smoking. Aileen is Chair of the Careers Committee in the Department and a thesis supervisor on the MA/MEconSc.
