Who should apply?

Graduates need not have studied Health Economics before.

Graduates with at least a second class honours in the MA (Economics), MEconSc, MBS or the equivalent can be accepted directly into the Ph.D. in the faculties of Commerce and Arts. By equivalent, the student must have completed an equivalent Masters programme to those above.

Other graduates with an MA(Economics), MEconSc, MBS(Business Economics), or the equivalent and that have obtained at least a second class honours in a substantial research component of their Masters degree programme or otherwise demonstrated research capability can also apply.
