The Disability Support Service (DSS) is committed to helping students with disabilities achieve their academic goals. If you are a student with a disability or specific learning difficulty(SLD), we can help you to maximise your own potential and enable you to achieve your own goals. Students with a disability may require support whilst studying at UCC. This can take various forms depending on individual requirement, as each student's needs are different. To best tailor the services we provide, we carry out  a Needs Assessment when you first register with the DSS. This Needs Assessment helps determine the level of supports you require.
