What You Have Helped To Achieve
Thanks to its generous supporters, UCC has completed a number of projects over the last few years. In November 2005, the University opened the Brookfield Health Sciences Campus, an investment of €44 million, which provides new facilities for the Schools of Medicine, Nursing and Midwifery and Clinical Therapies. In March 2006, UCC opened the School of Pharmacy's new €22 million Cavanagh Pharmacy Building and in September 2006, it opened the new €13 million Environmental Research Institute by the banks of the river Lee. Two very important heritage projects were also completed in 2006; the refurbishment of the Crawford Observatory(€1 million) and the restoration and conservation of the Ogham Stones Collection (€0.75 million). The new €36 million Postgraduate Research Library was completed in May 2007.
