Ferry routes serve Ringaskiddy (near Cork City), Rosslare (Wexford), Dublin Port, Dun Laoighire (Dublin), Belfast and Larne (both in Antrim, Northern Ireland) from various ports in England, France, Scotland, and Wales

  • Brittany Ferries offer direct sailings to Cork from Roscoff (France).
  • Irish Ferries offer direct sailings from Holyhead (Wales) to Dublin; and from Pembroke (Wales), Cherbourg (France) and Roscoff (France) to Rosslare.
  • Stenaline offer direct sailings from Holyhead (Wales) to both Dublin Port and Dun Laoghaire; from Fishguard (Wales) to Rosslare; from Stranraer (Scotland) to Belfast; and from Fleetwood (England) to Larne.
  • P&O Ferries offer direct sailings from Liverpool (England) to Dublin; and from Cairnryan (Scotland) and Troon (Scotland) to Larne.
  • Fastnet Line operates a ferry between Cork and Swansea. Swansea can be reached by train from all parts of the UK.
