The Competitiveness Institute is positioned to promote the value creation capacity of Irish-based enterprises through research, consultancy and educational activities focusing on long-term drivers of competitiveness.
The Institute is a partner of the Competitiveness Project of the World Economic Forum providing academic leadership of the WEF’s Executive Opinion Survey of Irish business executives for the Global Competitiveness Report.
The Institute is affiliated with the Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness (ISC) led by Professor Michael Porter of the Harvard Business School (HBS) at Harvard University (see here for details).
Our scope covers productivity, competitiveness and sustainability and the means to address related innovation challenges for businesses operating from a small internationally integrated economy.
We exploit our commitment to transformational learning in our collaborations across educational, research and consultancy projects, to think differently about business, productivity and competitiveness. We work in collaborations focusing on
- business strategy
- innovation development
- economic policy
to deliver impact with and for our partners.
