This includes the (ERIN) Exercise in Research and Innovation database which provides UCC and the wider public with information on the quality of research, expertise and potential for collaboration. It can be helpful in guiding funding decisions in industry and commerce, charities, private donors and other organisations that sponsor research in the University. It also gives an indication of the relative quality and standing of UCC's academic research. This information is currently catalogued by Academic Department.
