Research themes

Cork NeuroScience Research group investigates a range of neurodegenerative, neurological and psychiatric diseases and disorders, including Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy and seizures, multiple sclerosis, depression and anxiety, in addition to a number of other orphan brain diseases.  Work spans across basic and clinical research allowing translational discoveries. A key aim of the group is to promote collaborative research between clinical and basic neuroscience researchers.
