Research

The dynamic and energetic staff form the cornerstone of the CCJHR at UCC. We are committed to a research agenda which influences and shapes legislative policy in the Human Rights area both present and future. This supports our aspiration to excellence in educating Ireland's brightest students to be the Human Rights lawyers of the future.

The CCJHR staff have produced an impressive volume of highly original publications in a diversity of legal subjects. Staff also supervise numerous research theses (LL.M. and Ph.D.) and LL.B. dissertations. The CCJHR makes extensive use of the Law Section of the Boole Library in its research, together with electronic sources of information such as commercial legal databases and the Internet. We have regularly received funding from a variety of external sources to assist in our research.
