The conference brings together a panel of international scholars from a broad range of disciplines such as sociology, psychology, epidemiology, philosophy, anthropology, medicine and others, to address the ways in which contemporary malaises, diseases, illnesses and psycho-somatic syndromes relate to cultural pathologies of the social body and disorders of the collective esprit de corps of contemporary society.
