IRCHSS has launched the 2012-2013 round of its Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme

The IRCHSSS Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme for 2012-13 has just been announced. Please see below for details. The CACSSS Graduate School, in anticipation of the Call, has already held two information sessions for applicants and supervisors in which advice on the application process was provided. Drop-in sessions, in which applicants will receive one-on-one feedback on their completed applications from an academic outside their field is taking place from 6 - 9 March and from 12 - 15 March, please see the list as follows:

Please note that all applications must still receive the approval of the VP for Research Office five working days in advance of applicants' submission deadline of 20 March, despite the new electronic submission process and the subsequent submission dates outlined below. Completed applications must therefore be submitted to Lucy Wallis of the VP for Research Office by Monday, 12 March 2012.
Applicants are also advised that Stage 1 of the online application process, the ‘registration’ stage, requires some detailed information on supervisors, referees and project title etc. Applicants should therefore wait until they have all of that information before completing Stage 1, as the only part of Stage 1 that can be changed subsequently is the title and short description. Once applicants go to the online submission page, they can view Terms and Conditions and Guidelines before registering, and should ensure that they have read these carefully before doing so.

Scheme 1 - IRCHSS Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme 2012-13
The Irish Research Council for Humanities and Social Sciences (IRCHSS) has launched the 2012-2013 round of its Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme. For the 2012/13 round, applications will be submitted via an online application system. Please note the three deadlines for this scheme:
1. The deadline for applicants to the scheme is exactly 4 pm (GMT) on Tuesday 20th March 2012.
2. The deadline for referees and supervisors is exactly 4 pm (GMT) on Tuesday 27th March 2012.
3. The closing date for endorsement by the research office of the proposed host institution is exactly 4 pm (GMT) on Tuesday 3rd April 2012.
Applicants should carefully consult the Instructions for Use of the E-System document in conjunction with the Terms and Conditions before registering with the E-System. Both documents are available on the E-System Ribbon at www.irchss.ie/eapp.
