Psychology is a broad discipline which is relevant to every area of human life. It is a research-based discipline, which increases our knowledge of such diverse topics as mental & physical health, social interaction, attitudes, learning & memory, criminality, work, lifespan development and many others. Graduates go on to qualify as
psychologists in a number of areas, for example clinical, counselling, occupational, health, educational and
also as researchers and academics. Others choose not to pursue further training, but find the skills and knowledge they have acquired to be of benefit in other work settings. In the last five years, 94% of our graduates found employment or are in further training.
