Dr William Hynes (BSc MRUP MSc PhD MRICS MSCSI MRTPI MIPI MCILT) is a Chartered Town Planner, Chartered Surveyor, qualified Economist, and founder and director of Future Analytics Consulting Ltd.

William has leading experience providing expert advice to public and private sector clients in the following areas: strategic spatial planning including at national, regional, county and local levels, demography, retail, housing and economic analysis and forecasting that is fully integrated with spatial planning, retail analysis and forecasting, health planning, and infrastructure planning (roads, rail, services, etc.), and is currently providing social and socio-economic expertise across a range of economic development and regeneration projects.

William is the coordinator and partner in a number of European Commission Seventh Framework and Horizon 2020 Applied Research Projects and has been has been twice awarded as one of the Irish Champions of European Research by Enterprise Ireland. William is a member of the Central Statistics Office (CSO) Expert Group on national and regional population projections.
