The School of Biological, Earth & Environmental Science (BEES) in University College Cork are pleased to welcome you to the 55th Irish Geological Research Meeting (IGRM 2012).
IGRM is the premier forum for Irish geological research with all talks either about Irish Geology and/or showcasing Irish-based geological research. We have no parallel sessions and promote postgraduate and early start postdoctoral research presentations. We are delighted that all who registered for talks and poster have been accommodated (apologies for a few late entries). Excluding the workshop, there are 43 talks plus 2 keynote and 41 posters from 18 institutes. International co-authors highlight collaborations from 16 countries. Study sites presented come from all 7 continents (and the deep mid-Atlantic). Presentations are diverse covering the full spectrum of geology and geophysical research.
