Copyright law prohibits the reproduction, distribution, public display or public performance of copyrighted materials without permission of the copyright owner, unless fair use or another exemption under copyright law applies. We are unable to make duplicates of copyrighted audio, video, or multimedia materials without explicit written permission from the copyright owner.
There are implications for images and information that are used as part of a powerpoint during a lecture, particularly when these lectures are recorded for podcasting on Panopto or iTunes University. For example, if your presentation has been recorded and the presentation includes images which may be subject to copyright law, you should not publish/distribute the recording.
