Biography

Kevin Busby, BA. (Hons.) Arch., Dipl. (Hons.) Arch., RIBA

 

Kevin grew up in East Anglia, moving to London after completing his BA (honours) in Architecture at Leicester. He spent ten years in London, working for Architectural and Interior design firms during which time he completed his RIBA part II and III.

 

After a year at Sidell Gibson Architects, he spent a number of years in California as an Architect involved in higher education projects. He also directed Architectural services for a firm specializing in AutoCAD, supervising drawing production contracts with Gensler and a number of interior design firms in San Francisco.

 

He has been living in Cork since 1997, initially working as a Senior Architect at O’Riordan Staehli Architects and Jack Coughlan Associates. Since 1999, he has held a lecturing post at Cork Institute of Technology and currently teaches Studio, Graphics and CAD on the BSc Architecture course and is Co-ordinator of the BSc Interior Architecture course in C.I.T.
