Teaching period 2 -  January to March
The period from March onwards is for students to focus on their research dissertation. This is an original piece of work of 12000 to 15000 words,  chosen by students and supervised and directed by a member of staff. It takes place throughout the academic year and is to be completed by an autumn deadline usually the first week in October.
The assignments make up 50% of the total course mark.  The other 50% is given to the Research Dissertation.
