Research Facilities
The Anatomy Department fully equipped with state of the art research laboratories and equipment. Its research centre is located in the Biosciences Institute.
The Anatomy Department also specialises in Microscopy, it has in its research rooms Microscopes capable of techniques from Brightfield, DIC, Multi colour Fluorescence, Confocal laser scanning and Multi photon Confocal imaging. The department also is very active in image analysis and 3D and 4D reconstruction.
The Department offers a training and booking service on its microscopy instruments, and welcomes researchers from other departments within the University and from external users in Industry etc. For further information follow this link to the Imaging Centre.
