Registration for NUI Senate Elections 2007 - 24th February 2007 Deadline
Less than 40 % of graduates in the entire NUI population are registered to vote in the Seanad Éireann elections. Of these registered, only 32% received a ballot paper to their correct address. This means that only 13 in 100 NUI graduates were actually able to vote in the last Seanad Éireann election in 2002! The Seanad Éireann election is a postal vote only, so overseas graduates have just as an important role to play as those at home.As the closing date is imminent, graduates previously unregistered, are encouraged to complete and return the attached Registration Form to the following address:
The Registration Officer
49 Merrion Square
Dublin 2
before the 26th February 2007 to ensure a vote in this summer's elections. You may complete the Change of Address Form at http://www.nui.ie/elections/default.asp#el_UpdateRecordsand return it by email to the Registration Officer Email: records@nui.ie.
