The UCC Graduate Career Forum is open to graduates at all stages of their careers. 

Recently qualified graduates and graduates with several years professional experience are all welcome.

10.00 am – 1.00 pm:                Industry Sector Briefings

Industry leaders will speak about opportunities for graduates, focusing in particular on emerging trends in that sector, employers’ skills requirements and ways in which graduates can make themselves more employable.  Group discussions will enable attendees to interact with, and seek advice from, industry experts.

1.00 pm – 2.00 pm:                  Lunch
2.00 pm – 5.00 pm:                  Career Advice Workshops

A series of workshops will be delivered by UCC’s Careers Service, and will provide graduates with guidance on career planning and career concept building, creative job hunting and brand visibility, writing CVs for success, one-to-one interviews (the personal sales pitch) and group interviews/assessment centres.

Registration:

The UCC Graduate Career Forum is open to graduates currently seeking employment or seeking a change in direction.  There are 40 places available per industry sector.  Please register early to secure a place on the industry day/s most relevant to you.

Admission:  €25 per participant (to cover the cost of refreshments and lunch)

Graduates wishing to attend more than one seminar may register for the morning session of any additional seminars at a reduced rate of €10.  Please note that lunch is not included on days booked at this special rate.
