Partnership Opportunities

UCC’s Strategic Development Plan ensures that the university remains at the forefront of internationally competitive innovative research and research-led teaching, and that students enjoy the highest quality learning and developmental experience during their time at UCC.

The realisation of UCC's Strategic Development Plan is based on partnership with individuals and corporates and partnership opportunities can be explored through the many and varied aspects of our Strategic Development Plan.

There are many Partnership Opportunities available for individuals or corporates who wish to invest in UCC. All donations, large or small are warmly welcomed, and can be made in a tax-effective manner.

Through the partnerships offered by UCC, corporate or personal objectives may be achieved.  These may include, but are not confined to any of the following options.  Please contact the Development Office to discuss any of these opportunities in more detail.

  • Celebrating the life of an individual by associating their name with a particular project at the university
  • Naming opportunities such as naming of a building, a lecture theatre, gallery, library, laboratory, seminar room or any other major area of a School or Centre. There are several examples throughout the campus where companies or individuals names are associated with buildings, projects, student prizes etc.
  • Undergraduate placement
  • Graduate recruitment
  • A benefactor's name or dedication can also be honoured by the endowment of a chair, lectureship, fellowship or studentship
  • Supporting opportunities - financial gifts can be made to UCC to support any aspect of a Current Project, from the support of construction, maintenance and research to enabling particular aspects of degree courses
  •  Engagement of your workforce in university activities such as involvement in UCC's Leadership Lecture series, mentoring or coaching the university's teams
