About the Development & Alumni Office

The Development and Alumni Office fosters relationships with alumni, benefactors and friends.

UCC is a vibrant and dynamic University with almost 19,000 students from around the world.  The Alumni Office exists to provide students and graduates with a link to the University long after they leave.  The UCC Graduates’ Association, which is administered by the Alumni Office, is the network through which graduates can maintain a life-long relationship with each other and with their alma mater.  The Alumni Office encourages a spirit of loyalty, involvement and support amongst the University's 65,000 graduates.  Caroline Waters, Alumni Officer, organises an annual and graduates receive the annual UCC Graduate magazine.  In addition Graduates' Association members receive a quarterly newsletter, UCC Alumni News, as well as access to campus facilities and a comprehensive discount retail directory.

The Development Office (the executive arm of ) fosters partnerships of mutual benefit with individuals, trusts and foundations and the corporate sector.  These partnerships are vital as they enable the University to provide an excellent standard of teaching and research and a quality third and fourth level educational experience for students.
