2008 Alumni Achievement Awards Winners

Outstanding achievers in the fields of arts, business, sports and medicine were honoured by UCC at the 2008 Alumni Achievement Awards Ceremony, sponsored by Henry Ford & Son, Limited, on Thursday, November 27^th 2008 at UCC.

The four UCC graduates honoured were:-

Dr TOMÁS Ó CANAINN – Renowned uilleann-piper, composer, singer and member of the famous Irish Traditional Music group Na Filí

DICK LEHANE – Former Senior Vice President Manufacturing of EMC Worldwide

DR BARRY KEANE – Paediatric Cardiologist at Harvard Medical School

DECLAN KIDNEY – Ireland Rugby Coach and former Munster Rugby Coach.
