From 19th April until 2nd June UCC will deliver a new short course "An Introduction to Student Life in Ireland". This course is aimed at providing a university experience for displaced students from the Ukraine and other locations. Please note that you must be currently enrolled as a student in a high education institution (third level institution) in order to apply for this course.
The focus of the course is on:
- Life in Ireland for a young adult.
- Ireland, politics and society
- Getting sorted: communications and services

Welcome to Ireland: Awards Ceremony will take place at 5pm, in Devere Hall, Aras na Mac Leinn on Friday 17 June. You can view the livestream here if you are unable to attend.

Introductory Week
There will be an introductory week filled with activities from 19th April to 21st April delivered by Pat Leahy, School of Applied Social Studies, and students from the PG Diploma in Youthwork. Please see provisional details below.

Entry Requirements
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to participate in this course, and be currently enrolled on a course in a high education institution (third level institution).
Fees
There are no fees for this course. Unfortunately, we cannot provide travel, accommodation or childcare support for students hoping to attend this course at this time.

- Please note this is not an English Language course and it is not an accredited course at UCC.
