Mobile IT Classroom Project
| The Mobile IT Classoom Project is a pilot designed to determine the feasibilty of using Wireless Mobile Laptop carts as part of the
Teaching and Learning environment in UCC.
The project material consists of a large number of laptop computers throughout various parts of campus, being used by several departments and faculties, both in a classroom environment, and for lending out to students for academic purposes. |
| This website hopes to document the project, outlining the technology, usage patterns, useful resources for academics and administrators alike, and ultimately, determining whether these laptops are effective in their goal of improving the standards of both teaching and learning in University College Cork |
The MITC project is not about providing wireless hotspots for general internet access on Campus. Our mission with this project is a pedagogical analysis of direct technology in the classroom. Please direct any queries you may have regarding the project to: mitc@ucc.ie
