MPhil/PhD Research
History of Art welcomes applications for research at MPhil and PhD levels. These demanding degrees are suited for students with a demonstrated ability to conduct original and independent research in the subject area who are compelled to pursue a well-considered research project of their own devising. Research dissertations offer a unique and original contribution to art historical scholarship and are preparation for academic and curatorial careers. Interested candidates are invited to contact potential supervisors with a formal letter of application, detailing their proposed projects and methodologies as well as their motivations for pursuing a research degree.
