Karen Hearn was the senior curator for the recent Van Dyck and Britain exhibition in London and was co-curator of the Royalist Refugees exhibition (Rubenshuis, Antwerp ) in 2006. She has contributed to the catalogue for the current exhibition on Irish portraiture at the Crawford Art Gallery, Cork .
