Higher Diploma in Entrepreneurship and East Asian Affairs (CKA32)
The Higher Diploma in Entrepreneurship and East Asian Affairs (CKA32) offers graduates from the arts, humanities, social sciences, business, science and engineering the opportunity to develop an understanding of the geopolitical and economic realities of East Asia in the early twenty-first century, along with aspects of its recent history, in combination with the development of skills in entrepreneurship, management, and marketing. Students taking this course will develop a knowledge and skills base that will enable them to show entrepreneurship and respond effectively and knowledgeably within the workplace on matters relating to East Asia.

2) COMPLETING AND POSTING a special Supplementary Candidates Statement form to the Postgraduate Applications Centre, 1 Courthouse Square, Galway (please click on the following link to see a copy of the Supplementary Candidates Statement Form): CKA32 Supplementary Statement Form
3) Non-UCC applicants must submit evidence of any qualification(s) (academic results and certificates/parchments) that were not completed in University College Cork and submit evidence of English Language proficiency (if applicable) to the Online Postgraduate Applications Centre, 1, Courthouse Square, Galway (marked with your online Postgraduate Application Number)

The EU tuition fee for this Higher Diploma programme 2009/2010 (1 year full-time) is expected to be in the region of €4,855.00. The academic year is due to commence the week beginning 21st September 2009.

CH3103 - China and Globalisation (5 credits)

CH2002 – An Introduction to Business in China (5 credits)
CH2104 – 20th Century China (5 credits)
