Centre for Policy Studies

Mona Mullane McLauchlan joined the Centre in April 2003, having previously worked in the Registrars Department (Student Records and Examinations Office), Zoology & Animal Ecology, Epidemiology & Public Health and Buildings & Estates.

Some of Mona’s functions in the Centre are to manage and oversee the administrative structure and organisational functions of the Centre, monitor Centre and research budgets, manage the examination process within the Centre, provide administrative support to Director and other academic staff, provide support for teaching and research activities.

Prior to taking up employment in UCC she worked for 10 years in the world head office of an international promotions office and subsequently in a large civil engineering and building contractors company.   Mona holds a Teachers Diploma in Word Processing and a Teachers Diploma in Information Technology.  Mona has taught various aspects of computing and in particular taught and co-ordinated the JEB Teachers Diploma in Information Technology in Skerry’s Business College Cork.
