Tomás Ó Carragáin winner of the 2009 Martyn Jope Award
Congratulations to Tomás Ó Carragáin who has won the 2009 Martyn Jope Award for his paper ‘The architectural setting of the mass in early medieval Ireland.’ The award was established by the Society for Medieval Archaeology to recognise ‘the best novel interpretation, application of analytical method or presentation of new findings published in Medieval Archaeology.’ The 2009 award was made by the President of the Society, Leslie Webster at its AGM in Burlington House, London on 07 December.
