Biography

Michael Hanna graduated with an honours degree in Natural Sciences from Trinity College Dublin in 1972 and an M.Sc. in Animal Breeding in 1975. He has been working in university faculty administration for most of his career since then, firstly in the Trinity College faculties of science and health sciences and since 2002, in University College Cork where he held the post of Manager of the Faculty of Medicine and Health to 2007 and then acting College Manager of Medicine and Health till 2009. He is currently working on the project team for the Reconfiguration of Acute Health Services for Cork and Kerry.
