Translational Health Research Conference 24.6.09

The College of Medicine and Health, in association with Pfizer and The Cork Cancer Research Centre ran a very successful one-day Conference in Brookfield Health & Sciences Complex on 24 June 2009. The conference had over 180 registrants and up to 90 posters.

Prof Michael C Berndt presents first prize to Arif Albulushi (Physiology) on his poster entitled, 'Impact of Angiotensin 1-7 on rental  haemodynamic and excretory function in anaesthetised normotensive and hypertensive rats'

2nd Prize for Poster

Mary McMahon (Biochemistry) received 2nd prize for her poster on, 'WDR3 is induced by IGF-I and is required for ribosome biogenesis and cell profileration'
