CANCER: Dr Aideen Long made her presentation on 'Bile Acid Signalling in the Gastrointestinal Tract'

PUBLIC HEALTH/HEALTH SERVICES: Irina presented her talk on 'Paediatrics and Child Health: Performance of an automated neonatal seizure detection system'
David McCan (Pfizer) presents gold medal to Tracey O'Donovan
CANCER: Tracey's talk was on 'Autophagy in oesophageal cancer: A mechanism of resistance to cytoxic chemotherapy'

Prof Michael C Berndt presents first prize to Arif Albulushi (Physiology) on his poster entitled, 'Impact of Angiotensin 1-7 on rental haemodynamic and excretory function in anaesthetised normotensive and hypertensive rats'
2nd Prize for Poster
Mary McMahon (Biochemistry) received 2nd prize for her poster on, 'WDR3 is induced by IGF-I and is required for ribosome biogenesis and cell profileration'
