Doctoral Student Questionnaire Dec 2010 - Survey Results

The Graduate School surveyed doctoral students to learn more about the doctoral student body to help plan services and activities. The questionnaire, which took up to 20 minutes to complete online with a deadline of early Jan 2011, had been developed by the Graduate School in consultation with graduate students who had also piloted it for us. It was specifically designed for and aimed at doctoral students to allow the Graduate School to focus our efforts towards making your student experience, training and support better.

The questionnaire has three sections: Section 1 is designed to find out a little bit about the students, not in any identifiable way, Section 2 measures students' experiences of being a PhD student in UCC to date, and Section 3 seeks to measure students' needs and determine what can to be done for them and for their successors in the future.

A follow-up questionnaire is planned in 12 months and 24 months to measure the impact of the Graduate School on the experience as a Doctoral Student of this College.

All data is confidential and will be used for statistical purposes only and doesn not contain anything that could identify an individual respondent.
