Bill Perry's w3-mode turns Emacs into a browser
for the WorldWideWeb. If you are running X Windows and Lucid Emacs or
Epoch, this is a full graphical browser; if you are running any other
form of Emacs, this is a character-mode browser. W3-mode
is one of only two browsers at the moment which support HTML3 (the
other being Arena).
To get w3-mode running, type Esc
x w3 RET (it will pick up your home
page address from the environment variableWWW_HOME). To
leave w3-mode, press q. For help, press
