Innis uaimsi dá ucht slim an ceó tuirrsi atá ar m'inntinn: nocht cúis m'imnidh dá aithle dá ghnúis tibhrigh thonnghairthe. Doighthe cuartaighthe croidhe mo lucht gáoil, m'aos ionmhuine: na caraid dár threisi ar dtoil, ní mharuid 's meisi ar marthuin. Barr ar gach teidhm mar tá sinn d'éis meanman Uilliam Nuinnsinn: am beó ar sgarthain ré a ghné ghil— ní marthain é, ní hoighidh.
