A uan fionn do fhás ón óigh, uad i ngioll red ghrás a-táim; asad gan bhréig fa dú dóigh; is tú an ghlóir nach téid i dtráigh. Red thocht i dtionól an Luain an chroch 's an choróin red thaoibh tiocfa sé 'n-a shochar dhúinn dúil don rothal, a Dé, dhaoibh. Ní fhuil ag neach grádh dá ghaol —uch! ní neamh a-tám do thúr; ar dtréidhe mo-nuar is nár; grádh dá chéile badh dual dún.
