<opener><frn lang="de">In dem Sammelkodex H. 4. 2<sup resp="BH">2</sup> der Bibliothek von Trinity College befindet sich au&szlig;er den von Thurneysen <title type="book">Zu irischen Handschriften</title> S. 31 und 53 erw&auml;hnten St&uuml;cken auch noch eine leider unvollst&auml;andige Kopie von <title type="Irish legend">Imram Brain</title> aus dem <title type="manuscript codex">C&iacute;n Dromma Snechta</title>.<note n="1" type="auth">Wie ich h&ouml;re, wird Bergin demn&auml;chst die ganze Handschrift eingehend beschreiben.</note>  Dieselbe beginnt auf fol. 50b.  Unmittelbar vorher gehen die hier abgedruckten Verse, die fol. 50a auf das Ende de <title type="Irish legend">Forfess Fer Falgae</title> folgen und mit den Worten <frn lang="ga">asin l.c. nicc,</frn> d. h. wohl <frn lang="ga">asin libur chetna hic</frn>, eingeleitet werden.  Ich nehme an, da&szlig; das erste Gedicht von dem Druiden Brans, das zweite, wie die Handschrift angibt, von der Seherin Febals gesprochen wird.</frn></opener>
