How to apply for work experience

UCC98.3FM offers a limited number of places each year to work experience students both transition year and 3rd level. It’s tailored each week to suit the student and their interests. The station has clear guideline for the application process.

Work experience is limited to 1 week with each day starting at 12:00 with a break from 2-3 and finishing @ 17:30 each day. Each week is limited to 2 students due to the lack of space at the station. Students are matched to age as much as possible.

Two students applying together is welcomed. Applicants must be over 16 years of age at the time of starting the work experience. Must have insurance from the School/College. Show an interest in radio and media and be willing to present their own shows after training. Be able to help with cataloging of our CD collection. Application must include contact details for family/ guardians.
