Postgraduate Certificate in Architectural Professional Practice and Experience

(Joint Course Between University College Cork and Cork Institute of Technology)

The Postgraduate Certificate in Architectural Professional Practice and Experience is a part-time programme running over a six month period, January to June or as two three month periods over two years. Lectures will take place one day per week over a three and a half month period.

Entry Requirements
In order to be permitted entry to the Postgraduate Certificate in Architectural Professional Practice and Experience a candidate must hold:

Admission to the programme will be subject to the approval of Cork Centre for Architectural Education

Programme Requirements

Students take 30 credits as follows:

AT6001 Architectural Practice and Practice Management (5 credits)
AT6002 Construction Legislation (5 credits)
AT6003 Contract Management and Project Planning (5 credits)
AT6004 Professional Practice Case Study (10credits)
AT6005 Practical Experience in Architecture (5 credits)
