A candidate for the MSc Degree by Mode 2 - Coursework, Examination,
Dissertation must:
(a) pursue an internal postgraduate programme for a
minimum of 12 months from the date of first registration for the programme
after obtaining the primary degree;
(b) obtain an average mark of 50% in the
coursework as a pre-requisite for submission of the dissertation;
(c)
submit a dissertation on a project which will be assessed by Intern and Extern
Examiners;
(d) pass an examination on the subject matter of the
dissertation if the examiners so decide.
Note: The Degree is awarded on the basis of the combined results of designated coursework and the minor dissertation.
