periodic table.

Discovery
Thallium was discovered by
W Crookes in 1861AD.
Occurrence
Thallium is occurs in the ores of zinc.
Extraction
Thallium is isolated from the flue dust produced in the manufacture
of sulphuric acid.

- Thallium is a soft metal with a low melting point.
- Thallium is similar to lead in many of its physical properties.
Reactions
Uses
Thallium is used in photography to increase the sensitivity of
the photosensitive silver halide emulsions.
