Promethium
Promethium, Pm, is a metallic element, which is found in the lanthanide
series of inner transition metals in
Group IIIa of the
periodic table.

Discovery
Promethium was predicted by Branner in 1902 AD.
Promethium was confirmed by Moseley in 1914 AD.
Occurrence
Promethium does not exist naturally on earth, and is only formed
in nuclear reactions.
Promethium has been observed spectroscopically in a star in Andromeda.
